- Excellent Work-Life Balance: Fixed 38–40 hour work weeks. Generous 30 days of paid vacation per year.
- Family Visas: Spouse and children can join you easily with free education and healthcare for them.
- Permanent Settlement: Clear and fast pathway to German Permanent Residency (PR) and Citizenship.
- Zero Tuition Fees: Further specialization courses (like manual therapy, Bobath) are often funded by employers.
The A to Z Licensing Pathway
Unlike IT or Engineering, Physiotherapy is a regulated profession in Germany. You need a state license (Berufsurkunde) to practice. Europe Careers manages this complex paperwork for you.
B2 German Language
You must achieve a Goethe/Telc B2 Level certificate. We provide intensive linguistic training tailored for healthcare professionals.
Anerkennung (Recognition Application)
We submit your BPT/MPT degrees, transcripts, and experience letters to the German state authority for evaluation.
Defizitbescheid (Deficit Notice)
Because non-EU degrees differ from German standards, the authority issues a letter outlining the clinical hours you are "missing".
Anpassungslehrgang (Adaptation Period)
You fly to Germany and work as an Assistant Physiotherapist (paid) for 3 to 6 months to complete these missing hours. Alternatively, you can take a Knowledge Exam (Kenntnisprüfung).
Berufsurkunde (Full License)
Once hours are completed, you receive your permanent license and are officially recognized as a "Physiotherapeut/in" with full salary benefits.
